Access Standards Telepermit Service Closed

The Access Standards Telepermit approval service closed on 31st August 2026 and is no longer accepting or processing applications.

Existing Telepermits

Telepermits issued for Access Standards before the closure of the service remain valid. The closure of the approval service does not affect the status of previously granted Telepermits.

Public PTC Register

The Telepermit website and Public PTC Register will remain available until 1st December 2026 to allow users to access existing Telepermit information. After this date, the website and register will be permanently decommissioned.

PTC 257 for Mobile Device Certification

The PTC 257 Mobile Device Certification Programme continues to operate as an active service under Device Technology & Certification (DTC).

Product Compliance Requirements

Although Access Standards Telepermit service has ended, suppliers remain responsible for complying with applicable New Zealand regulatory requirements.
