Permit to Connect (PTC) specifications describe the important characteristics necessary for compatibility of terminal equipment with Telecom New Zealand's networks. The specifications provide information for manufacturers who need to know how to design or modify a product to suit the Telecom New Zealand network.
Telecom Network Advisory (TNA) specifications provide additional technical information on Telecom New Zealand network conditions and other general information. Much of the information does not directly relate to the granting of Telepermits, but provides design and other information of assistance to suppliers of equipment for the Telecom New Zealand network.
